At five ink, Madam Mim, Rival of Merlin is a great card, but she can also be Shifted onto another Madam Mim card - of which there are many in Rise of the Floodborn - for just three ink, making her outstanding ability even better value
The Forbidden Mountain, for example, only has one lore, meaning it probably wouldnt be a super tantalizing proposition to spend four ink playing Peter Pan
Obviously I have nitpicks with individual cards -- I've been yelling about Temple of the False God only being good in decks that reliably land ramp and it's especially bad in decks with lots of color pip requirements -- but these are just nitpicks
The problem is that Im inclined to generate ink (the games version of mana) on every turn, which burns one card from my hand right off the top
Magic: The Gathering , the pressure from emerging card games is real and will likely continue into 2024
Since Ursula plays her entire hand each turn, it wont be long before she has enough items and characters to swarm the field
