Two separate draw/discard instances gives you plenty of room to pitch a Dredge card and use its ability, and it provides pressure on the board to boot
I did try the game out again earlier today and I actually kicked everyone's butt, I have no idea how that happened

When a Pokemon evolves it keeps all attached cards and any damage counters on it
For four generic and two red mana, it can be flipped into Erupting Dreadwolf, which deals two damage to target creature or player whenever it attacks
You can of course have more cards in the planar deck (although phenomena are capped at 2), but these are what I wanted to highlight for this deck
