After its no longer free, the card is still playable, but those turn 0 free spells are extremely nice

Pyromancer is sufficiently cheap that it makes for great bait and is rarely an issue when it eats 1 for 1 removal

The Eldrazi are still winning, but a number of cards have been at the forefront of the resistance

I do think they want to slide back and forth through different expressions and play the one that suits their needs at that given time. Of course the Historic format was already unique to Arena as well, if technically playable with paper cards

Plus, theres been plenty of newer (relative to Felidar Sovereigns first printing in Mayael's Aria While this cards colors are fairly restrictive, its worth mentioning due to the value it does provide if you find yourself playing Naya, especially if youre leaning into large creatures
