Despite the creature in question providing some very aggressive bonuses, its not often that you see a scheming side to mono red
At three mana, it just feels very mediocre, even if slapped into a knight tribal build, or even if drafted for Limited
Its a solid Standard MTG deck for sure, but might not be the most fun for some newer players, because you spend a lot of time building up for a single strong turn and cant do anything especially flashy with your creatures
It's hard to say which of these new Starter Decks is better - it really just comes down to which deck or playstyle interests players most
The drawback of providing the opponent with a 3/3 Beast token is a small price to pay to neutralize a win condition before it can take over the game
Due to the good competitive value, this deck seems also the easier to upgrade by adding some cards to do direct damage and kick-off your combos and some late-game high questing Characters to close your games
