Add to that some nice lifegain and the option to cheat out nonland permanents and youve got a fun card to build around
Card advantage, cost reduction, not to mention its a huge, scary, dragon itself

All of the Merlin cards give an ability when returned to hand, like the Merlin Crab which gives another character +3 strength when challenging, when they are played, and when they leave play (which can be in the same turn for a super boost), and Madam Min returns cards to hand when played
However, if an opponent's first draw is replaced (by Underrealm Lich's ability, for example), that draw didn't happen and Narset won't stop the next draw (which may also be replaced by Underrealm Lich's ability)
She causes every critter your opponent casts and every nonbasic land they play to enter tapped, totally nullifying haste as a keyword and slowing their mana production considerably (unless your opponents prefer to play with the Thriving lands)
