Turn four : Play Syr Armont
Youll likely want to trim a few lands if you have a bunch of dorks in your deck
Rosewater, Mark Subject: Crackle Off the top of my head though here are some cards that are "too powerful to bring back" that might be exciting to reprint in purple, along with what it would mean for the color's section of the pie: Mana Drain (countermagic) Fireblast (direct damage) Hymn to Tourach (discard) Rancor (trample and creature pump?) Land Tax (taxing) Land Grant (land search) Sylvan Library (deck manipulation) Dark Ritual (fast mana) The cards that really help to define the color, like the first three, seem better because their inclusion makes a lot of other cards make sense
If the chosen permanent is copying something else (for example, if the chosen permanent is a Clone), then your Hulking Metamorph enters the battlefield as whatever the chosen permanent copied, with the stated exceptions
Still, a turn two Thundermaw poses some pretty serious questions that command a rapid reply
Getting cards back from the bin for free is always a good prospect, and you just need to add Tortured Existence to really get your moneys worth
