Although there's recursion text on the card that is useful without the shrines package, it's very rarely used to command anything but a shrines deck

Every time you flashback or jumpstart a spell, you get to grow the fish and draw more cards

It'll be interesting to see if that's how it plays out, or if Flare of Denial is even played consistently, but its flexibility and interesting impact on game states make it the most intriguing MH3 spoiler so far
