Dont feel too bad if the table flips aggro on you because you seem hard to deal with, even though you may not actually be doing much to advance your own board
You can accelerate this by using Pack Hourglasses (which will reduce the timer by 1 hour) or using Pok Gold (which reduces the timer by 2 hours)

Im not aware of many, or any, equipment cards that have effects triggered by becoming attached or unattached (though Im sure there must be something), so I cant comment on how strong this mechanic will be in the long run
