I remember I was 7 when they launched here in the UK, I still remember opening my first Base Set booster pack, I even recall that it was a Blastoise art pack and I pulled a holo Poliwrath, from that moment I was totally hooked and so excited to find and collect all of the cards, not just to own them, but to see the artwork, that sense of discovery was incredibly rewarding
This also meant I was more willing to tinker with a deck on my own instead of sticking to the one I found online, leading to a more satisfying victory in the end when Marik finally went down
Its a 3/2 for four that can either blow up a creature or planeswalker, counter a spell, activated ability, or triggered ability
That way, when I get online I can gather together some like-minded players, and we can have ourselves some epic games of Commander
