Not super exciting, but probably solid in any deck

STEEL : Steel ink is all about strength, and consists of glimmers that are large, imposing, armored, or just plain powerful

Were already seeing Zendikar Rising experiment with using different card types as the front side of these, which will affect deck-building and combo options across various formats (the front side determines how you can search for or target these cards when they arent in play)

Plus theres lots of good tempo/control cards in merfolk builds that can help you disrupt the game until you can start to overwhelm

Fire Magic doesnt kill any of the decks threats, including Fear of Missing Out in the two-mana slot
