If you cast the card this way, it will resolve before the spell that caused Minds Dilations ability to trigger

There's no mechanical difference between blue instants and instants from other colors

However, the card collecting community seems to desire "out of the pack" condition of cards and any damage that happens to them along the way should remain on the card
