Metropolis Size:4x5 rotating and spinningMetropolis is a pen and ink drawing inspired by a photograph of high rise apartments in Hong Kong. I carefully analyzed this photograph and measured the position and angle of every object with a Keuffel and Esser divider. I then sketched each object with a . 5mm mechanical Pentel pencil. Once the design was complete, I drew the image using a Rapidograph . 25 mm pen. The original drawing is 14"x17". I counted 66 floors in this apartment complex which
